VAPDC participated in Local Government Day with the Virginia Association of Counties (VAC0) and the Virginia Municipal League (VML) on February 3 in Richmond. Picture at the event are the presidents of the three associations: Kim Callis (VAPDC); Meg Bohmke (VACo) and Jon Stehle (VML). VAPDC also used this day to hold a joint Board of Directors/Executive Directors meeting and welcomed Mirielle Burgoyne from NADO for a discussion on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
While in Richmond for Local Government Day, VAPDC presented its 2022 Legislator of the Year award to Delegate David Bulova of Fairfax, recognizing his leadership in securing additional state funding for PDCs.
