Virginia’s Economy and Housing Market

This session will explore economic conditions and housing market trends in Virginia. Ryan Price, Chief Economist with the Virginia Association of Realtors, will examine the economy, inflation and the job market, as well as mortgage rate trends, housing market inventory and home sales and prices.

The 2025 General Assembly is Upon Us!​

​The 2025 General Assembly will convene in early January. This is the so-called “short” (46 days) session. It’s a lot of legislation and changes to the current biennial state budget all packed into a short six-plus weeks. This session will provide an overview of the legislative process, highlight the governor’s budget proposal and review anticipated legislative issues of interest to localities and regions.
